Exceptions and Oddities, part 4

Also in Generations, Picard's uniform undershirt appeared to have some sort of sewn-on shoulder pad, made from what looks like the same gray cotton lycra:

We don't know if that was supplemental and/or an alternative to shoulder pads in the actual jumpsuit. 

We do, however, know that strategically padding the undershirts via sewn-on "foamies" was practiced, most notably in the beefing up of Michael Dorn to play Worf. 



We also came across several auction listings for Tom Paris uniforms which included VOY undershirts described as having "muscle padding" or "padding for additional musculature," which seems odd to us, since Tom Paris wasn't particularly memorable for his physical prowess like, say, Worf, or these characters:
