In Voyager's fifth season episode "Gravity," Tom Paris and Tuvok were stranded and were shown both with and without their new VOY jackets, revealing their undershirts:
Of course, these undershirts turned out to have magical properties, because they displayed abilities to open both partway (at different lengths!) AND completely at the front center with no closure of any kind ever visible in this or any other episode of the entire show!
My guess? A wizard did it.
Tom's tank top (pictured above) also magically transformed into the new "male hero T-shirt" (which was introduced earlier in the season):
But seriously, who's even keeping up at this point? Maybe he happened to pack an extra shirt that day.
Interestingly, the manner in which Tuvok's collar appears to have been casually and carelessly draped open appears to have actually been both intentional and calculated; it was probably no coincidence that it hid the back bar supporting the rank pips.
That same production year, in Insurrection, Picard's division shirt collar just happened to fall open the same way (he's looking in the mirror in the right screencap):
